I use this to display Art prints at various shows. It folds up flat - has velcro tabs that keep it folded up. The jumbo size is the ideal hight for viewing prints comfortably - w/o stooping or bending.

This was the most frustrating piece of equipment I have ever tried to put together. There were no instructions for assembling and the threaded end of one of the rods was painted over so before I could screw the bolt-end on to it I had to scrape the paint off. After 5 failed attempts at assembly, I finally got it together. I will not but this company's products again.

I am considered, at least in my family, as above average in "putting things together" . And granted I was in a hurry and it was 3 am before a show,.. There were NO instructions - not even the little IKEA type pictogram to indicate that the horizontal bars were of different lengths or what was in inside vs outside . Once one has fiddled with it for an hour , it becomes obvious -but not the first time out.

This product is excellent. A useful design, great for displaying/storing loose photographs (or artwork). I plan on buying the other sizes as I need them. The ONLY negative (and a small one at that) was the lack of concise assembly instructions, had to visualize it in my head and put it together. Otherwise a definitely recommend this product.

I bought the mini and large racks to display collages and drawings for sale at my open studio event. They're handsome and display the work nicely. Ample storage. They even hold heavier framed pieces. Lightweight and fold up tightly.

I had read lots of reviews before making my purchase. I followed the directions another person posted in order to put the large one together--thank goodness for those--thank you! I can see how frustrating it would have been without them. Not sure why the manufacturer can't add even a little diagram with the package. The mini rack came fully assembled--a big plus! The mini one is kind of a strange height. As another poster said, not ideal for tabletop and too low for the floor but the customers seem to deal just fine. The large one seems a little warped--doesn't stand quite straight--enough to annoy me but again, not something the average customer would really notice.

Overall great product and good price.

I have bought several of these to display artwork in my art gallery and gift shop. They are clean looking and do not distract from the artwork. The last one will not sit correctly when empty, but with weight in it - it is ok. I would still buy these compared to the wood models where the artwork wants to slip through the slats.

I am a collage artist who works on small to medium-sized pieces (6" x 6" to 20" x 20"). I needed a display rack to take to art exhibits for bargain bin items, and this display rack works just right for the purpose. Pretty easy to assemble (though it would have been even better with an instruction sheet). Folds for light-weight, easy transport. I got the medium size.

The only complaint is that it was difficult to tell how far off the ground the rack portion would be... at least from the description. The description could really have used a picture showing the measurements.

This looks like it will be great for art shows. The mini size comes assembled, but the medium size doesn't. There are no instructions so make sure the two longer (thin) rods go on the outside legs! However, because everything fits together at the end very tautly, it's a pain to put together with only two hands! Once it's together, the canvas bin is very taut, which seems like it will provide good support for artwork.

This is the second one of these I've purchased from Jerry's, [...] The only issue with the rack itself is that the legs are just a bit mismatched, so it doesn't sit quite flat. The first one had the same issue, so I don't think it's random. Other than that, it's been holding up well, and I have no complaints.

for the materials involved, it should be half the price. it is good for what i need it for- display of prints at craft shows, especially outdoors. HOWEVER as simple as it is, there was nothing at first to indicate that one of the support poles is actually a different length, which led to a lot of wasted time during assembly. this rack does what it is intended to do and will probably meet your needs, but it is unrealistically priced. should be $60.

Lightweight with ample storage. Perfect for shows. No instructions come with it, so it takes some time to figure it out. Here's my assembly tip: the 2 longer rods go on the outer legs and the shorter rod goes on the inside legs. Remember that and assembly will be a breeze!

The canvas seems poorly sewn and slightly longer in one dimension. That makes the frame sit unevenly on the floor and is decidedly lopsided. My matted artwork slides to one direction. [...]

I purchased two canvas print racks. The small one was preassembled, and I'm very pleased with it.

The large rack had some issues, most of which I was able to fix (I'm aware defective items may be returned, but having read the reviews, I had no assurance the replacement rack would be problem free). This manufacturer must not have a quality control department).

Two of the rods had thick baked-on paint, completely covering the threads. Initially I thought the rod ends were not threaded. But, on close examination, the threads were faintly visible.

I purchased some strong paint stripper. After dipping the threaded portion in paint stripper a couple of times, for about 30 seconds per application, I was able to remove the paint with a wire brush.

The lack of instructions is frustrating. Perhaps the following instructions will help future customers (some good illustrations would also be helpful):
1. Lay the parts out on the floor. Verify you have all required parts. Examine them to make sure holes are drilled properly, and that the threads on the rods are clean. Note: One rod is shorter than the other two. It goes on the front.
2. Attach the rods to the left-side vertical support tubes. Be careful not to cross-thread the nuts. Lay the assembled portion on its side, in the form of an "X", with all three rods pointing upward. Insert the two short tubes, so they are also pointing upward.
3. Slide the fabric down over the rods and tubes. Leave this assembled portion lying on its side.
4. Carefully lower the right-side vertical support tubes down over the rods and tubes, inserting each rod/tube into its appropriate hole. Install the remaining nuts, and tighten them.

I'm very satisfied with my two print racks now, except…the large one does not sit properly on all four legs. One leg is about ¾ of an inch off the floor. I was disappointed at the need to spend hours on an assembly that should have only required half an hour.

I hope JerrysArtarama is passing our quality concerns on to the manufacturer.

Had no problems assembling. Easy to carry and set up. These racks do a good job holding two sizes of matted prints at art festivals and look good doing it. Previously bought two medium sized racks and am now buying the jumbo size rack for larger size prints.

Product performs well for storage space. I had close to two hundred 11x14 photo prints and most of them fit into one rack. It took me a while to figure out how to assemble the first rack, but I did it right the first time. The only complaint I have is that the screw end caps did not come with both racks, so I had to wait for them to send that to me. I got it put together in time for the art show I was going to, though, so it wasn't anything major. Would buy another if I needed one.

The cross bars' threaded ends were coated/painted making them unable to screw into their location on the legs. After painstaking efforts to file and scrape the paint off of the threads, I was able to put the pieces together. I am very happy with the product, but the hour it took to put it together was extremely disappointing. This product came without assembly instructions. Like other reviewers, I found that the machining of threads and drilling of holes is really substandard. Also, it looked like this item had made the rounds a few times. The box is very faded, and the canvas sling was scuffed and dusty. Interestingly, there is no company name anywhere on the box. If I was responsible for its manufacture, I would prefer to be anonymous, too.
Figure over an hour for assembly, if your experience is anything like mine. And you many end up, as I did, with one bar and post that will not connect at all.

I use this to hold 20x30 clear bagged foam cored prints. There are zero instructions to put this together so you have to go by the image on the box which seemed easy until I struggled and put it all together backwards! DO OVER.

Bad news first, assembly would be easier w/instructions,but not to difficult without.As for use couldn't do better ordered both sizes and they worked out great. I am a photographer and I use these racks to display my photographs at shows. I love that they are so light weight and that they are water proof. I have been rained out at a couple of shows and had to break down in a down pour. It helped greatly that I was able to close the rack with my photos safely tucked inside and dash to the car, all with minimum water seepage. I haven't found anything negative about the racks. These print racks aren't bad for the money and I have found them sturdy and useful. My complaint is in the manufacturing. The ends of the metal rods used to secure the racks together were painted over and my husband and I had to spend about two hours using razor blades to pull the paint out of the threads so they could be assembled. I was getting ready for an art show and I really didn't have time to spend pulling paint out of threads!

This product works well, if all the pieces fit together. The first one I received had 2 holes that were too small for the screws to fit into. I received the replacement, and it went together well. I found the (2) Mini Racks I purchased unusable due to the height for any kind of art booth or gallery option. Even with small 8x10 prints in them, they're too low to the ground for anyone to stand up (they have to kneel down to look through them), and sitting on a table, they stand too high for even a tall person to look through the art. If I have to buy or make something to set these stands on, the point of them being "mini" is pointless. They should have come with extendable legs. The larger rack I bought came with no assembly instructions and took an hour for me to figure out and assemble, and I have an engineer background. I would send them back, [...] I havent decided what to do with them.I am generally a nice person, and don't complain, but it does not seem like consumer testing was done before these were marketed.

Print rack is working, however one of the legs looks like it was broken and then welded back together and painted over. The product is working but it should not have been sent with this patched leg. The leg should have been replaced before being sent out!

This canvas print rack is just what I needed to display my matted batiks at art fairs! It is very sturdy. The metal frame will hold more weight than I could ever put in it without bending. And the fabric is tough. It folds very flat for easy transportation. It is just the right height so that customers can easily flip through the artwork. Have ordered/received 4 of these. They have decent quality/value/usability,
however 2 of them required extra assembly work, as the threads were
totally missing on one connection piece, and the hole on one pipe required
extra drilling for the assembly to be able to proceed.

That the items did not come with all parts in functional order, was most
disappointing, as to have to spend extra time and brain damage to
rig assembly of something that should have been totally ready for assembly
should not have been the case. The frustration was that it wasn't a bad
enough issue to take the extra time et al to return/replace, but quite
enough to be annoying.

If I did recommend this to a friend, I would let them know what they
might expect.
